Regarding your issue, there is no 'restore expenses' button in the app. Perhaps you are referring to the 'restore purchases' button? That button is for in-app purchases; if you have a subscription that isn't showing as active, you can use 'restore purchases' to reactivate it. As for deleted expenses, I am sorry, but there is no way to recover them. However, deleting them isn't as simple as a single swipe; a confirmation alert appears after swiping, making it very difficult to delete them by accident.
