Feature Request

I have 2 points would to get your feedback on:

  1. Is it possible to see a certain category over a certain period of time?

  2. When I try to export the expense file, its only in csv format not excell, I mean I cant choose the format to export.

  3. Also, for the same above point I cant export except the current month? Tried to selevt another period it didnt work!

    1. Category over Time: That's a great suggestion. We already have an open feature request for that. I will gladly upvote it for you right now, as it is something we are actively considering for future development.

    2. Export Format: You are correct; the expense export is currently provided in the universal CSV format. This format is highly compatible and can be easily opened and imported into any spreadsheet program, including Microsoft Excel, where you can then save it as a native Excel file (XLSX). We focus on CSV for broad compatibility across different operating systems and software.

    3. Export Time Period: I apologize that you're running into an issue selecting a different export period! The app is definitely designed to allow you to export expenses for any selected month, year, or custom date range. This sounds like a bug. Could you please describe what exactly happens when you try to select a period other than the current month? For example, does the selection tool fail to appear, or does the app crash?
